Call of Duty: Jackal Assault sure took everyone by surprised, when Activation announced that this virtual reality mission would be available as a free download for all PS VR owners that purchase the game.
People even got to try this experience at the Call of Duty XP event recently.
And while this is just a single demo mission, the important bit here is that a major game developer has produced something of this caliber for the PlayStation VR — and this is something that can only lead to bigger and better things for the platform.
If you wanted to see what the experience looks like, this video below that has just surfaced provides a pretty good idea of things:
It was captured at the XP event, by the way.
Certainly shows this VR experience in all its glory, and it is easy to notice the detailed cockpits and immersive atmosphere that has been created for this event. The attention to detail is simply visible, so to say.
That is the key thing here, the immersion, and is definitely an excellent addition for people that will buy this latest Call of Duty title on the PlayStation 4 and invest in a PlayStation VR headset.
The game releases November 4, and the Jackal Assault mission will be available as a free download.
